About

Maze Escape is a single-player puzzle game where players navigates through a maze while facing different obstacles and challenges.

This game was developed by using Godot game engine. As a game developer, it is my first game in Godot. The game was made by considering the ideas from social media, such as YouTube. 

The main objective of this game is to create an engaging experience for players. During the development, the game was tested several times to make it an engaging experience.

There are in total three levels. Escape the maze, collect coins & gems and beat the timer in order to process through the game! I hope this game  will contribute in a good way to community, It will make people have fun and smile.

Instructions

Objective

-Earn the highest score while escaping the maze before time runs out!

GamePlay

-Use Arrow Keys or WASD keys to move.

-Collect coins & gems to increase your score.

-Avoid obstacles and dead ends.

-Obtain the key to open the exit within the time given.

-You can press Esc key or Space key to pause the game.

Scoring

-Collecting coins & gems increases your score.      

(Coins: 10Points)        (Gems: 50Points)

-Your score will be added to the leaderboard only if you escape the maze.

-The leaderboard resets weekly and shows only the top 10 highest scores.

 (Max Score: 600 Points)

Win Condition

-Find the key and reach the exit before time runs out to go to the next level, there are in total 3 levels.

Lose Condition

-If the timer reaches 0s, you will fail. 

 (Level 1: 30s, Level 2: 45s, Level 3: 60s)
